Automatic Tang Break-Off Tool

A faster and more efficient method of removing the Tang.

The AUTOMATIC Tang Break-Off Tool incorporates a spring loaded punch and thus reduces
the task to a simple, one handed operation.

The tool is supplied complete with interchangeable punches to accommodate varying
lengths of insert in any of the appropriate thread sizes. Full instructions for use and punch
changing are included with every tool.

Tang Break-Off Tool

To remove Tang from installed insert. Introduce portion of punch/sleeve into minor diameter of insert so that face 'A' rests on Tang.

Hold tool firmly with left hand and deliver a sharp hammer blow at 'C'.

The Tang will break off cleanly at the notch.

Note: Tang Break-Off Tools can only be used with NOTCHED inserts.
