Length

ArmaCoil Inserts come in 5 standard lengths based upon the Nominal Diameter e.g. 1D, 1.5D, 2D, 2.5D and 3D.

This length represents the thickness of a plate in which a ArmaCoil will fit and be below the surface both top and bottom. Chamfers and counter bores should be taken into account.

In practice the ArmaCoil is approximately ¾ pitch shorter than the nominal length when fitted.
