Power Tools : The Spacer Set

Each tool is provided with a spacer set. This enables the tool to be adapted to install different lengths of the same thread size and series to the correct depth in the workplace.

The spacer set comprises:

For tools for inserting inserts up to and including 1/4" nominal thread size: 3 shim washers each 0.011" thick, 1 spacer marked 1D, 1 spacer marked 1.5D, 1 spacer marked 2D.

For tools for installing inserts larger than 1/4" nominal thread size: 3 shim washers each 0.022" thick, 1 spacer marked 1D, 1 spacer marked 1.5D.
