Ideal for the Food, Pharmaceutical, Marine and Chemical industries this galling resistant insert will eliminate costly repairs resulting from seizing and contamination.
The material grain structure makes it superior to any other stainless material where galling is an issue; it resists wear, tearing or freeze up of both the primary and contact materials over a wide range of service temperatures.
A Nitronic 60 wire thread insert will reduce friction by an average of 35% (test data available) and will eliminate the need for messy lubricants whilst its virtual particle-free properties will prevent cross contamination in clean environments.
